History

I’ve always felt I had a 3rd person perspective of my own life. The stories and pictures shared in this series are in fact actual family moments that I have experienced, but the unfortunate truth is I can’t recall much of this time of my life without them. The power the mind has to connect these memories through objects and imagery fascinates me and helps drive the sentiment behind this series

Much of my early childhood was plagued with misfortunes, however since these events happened far beyond the scope of my memory, I only have imagery, videos, and stories passed down to experience these past moments of my life. Because I can’t remember particular events, such as the death of my father, I rely on these as an indirect connection to people, things, and specific moments in my life.

This series is still ongoing, taking different forms to reflect the human experience with tragedy, nostalgia, and ongoing life.
