Breanna was born in Billings, MT and currently resides outside Worden MT where she’s lived nearly all her life. Breanna earned a Bachelor of Fine Art in 2015 at Montana State University Billings where she then returned two years later to earn a Masters of Education to teach. She currently is an Art Educator and has been teaching for 6 years while balancing life as a mother of four children.
Although her B.F.A was emphasized in digital mediums, in recent years she has turned to more traditional and enjoys experimenting with more hands on materials, often jumping between mediums to expain how she feels.
Her current artwork is connected to her personal growth as a woman and mother. Female bodies embody her need to connect with her own feminity and what it means to be a female figure, often representing themes of Life, Birth, and Death while subtly suggesting the emotions she feels in connection with these themes. She believes the female experience and nature go hand in hand, combining the two ideas together to demonstrate the beauty of being herself and her growth.
